Hall County is seeking to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor who will provide construction of the Friendship Road Corridor Sewer Extension further described in this RFP. The County's web site is the only official release site for this Request for Proposal or any addenda that may be issued for same. A Bid Bond, in the amount of not less than 5% of the base bid, must be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each in the amount not less than 100% of the total bid amount, at the signing of the contract. Failure to supply bonds will result in default of contract. Successful bidders shall be required to provide insurance in the amounts indicated under Article 6, Bonds and Insurance, of the General Conditions of the bid document. The County will assume no responsibility for representations or understandings concerning conditions made by its officers or employees unless included in this request for proposal. All proposals will be evaluated in accordance with applicable Hall County rules, regulations and laws.
