Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mesquite, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As set forth in the plans and specifications, the project is designed to install an alley between West Davis Street and West Main Street (next to the Heritage Building), and to replace sidewalk, parking, flume, and utility facilities The project includes approximately 190 square yards of sidewalk, 250 square yards of alley pavement, 170 square yards of street and parking pavement, 181 linear feet of 6" water line, 141 linear feet of 6" sanitary sewer, and miscellaneous appurtenances, sodding, landscape, and irrigation improvements. Bidder must submit, with their Bid, a Cashier's check, Certified check, or a Bid Bond from an approved surety company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and guarantee forms, if required, within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, from an approved Surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety, and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding Certificates of Authority from the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, or another Surety acceptable to the City.
