Program of redevelopment of Peel Street between René-Lévesque West Boulevard and Sherbrooke West Street. The program will include rebuilding of certain underground infrastructure and numerous improvements including the widening of the sidewalks, development of a protected bicycle path that is part of the Express Cycling Network (ECN), trees planting and installation of new street furniture elements. The Peel Street redevelopment has been integrated into the latest phase of the Sainte-Catherine Street West redevelopment project between Mansfield and Peel streets. The owner has awarded an additional professional consultant to complete geo-technical and archeological studies for the project implementation. The awarded professional consultants is working on the preparation of concept of the project. The project is expected to be presented during a public information session. The Peel Street project between René-Lévesque Boulevard and Sherbrooke Street will be the subject of a separate call for tenders and will be carried out starting 2026. Note.
