This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the City of Regina (the "City") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Big Blue Bin, A Residential Community Depot Recycling Program Collection and Hauling Services, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The City seeks Submissions in response to this Request for Quotations from entities qualified and experienced in hauling and emptying approximately 48 cubic yard (yd3 ) or similar modified rolloff Containers for collecting recyclable material including, but not limited to, newspapers, flyers, corrugated cardboard, boxboard, magazines, fine papers, plastics #1-7, aluminum food and beverage containers, and tin food and beverage containers and hauling it to the designated Processing Facility. The City seeks to engage and to encourage innovation and welcomes multiple Submissions from Respondents for the Services required in this RFQ. The selected respondent will be requested to enter into a contract for the provision of the Deliverables on the terms and conditions set out in the Form of Agreement (Appendix A) (the "Agreement"). It is the City's intention to enter into a contract with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the contract is to be for a period of two (2) years, with an option in favour of the City to extend the contract on the same terms and conditions for three (3), one (1) year extensions.
