Sealed bids will be received by Solebury Township for the following road projects:Rubberized Crack/Joint Sealing (approx. 15,000 lbs). The successful bidder is required to pay fees established by portal equal to 1/3% of the awarded bid total successful bidder shall pay no less than the prevailing wage rates determined for the project area as set forth in the project documents. Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via portal) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; and Anti-Collusion Affidavit. Bidder shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act (E-Verify Program). All information must be submitted via the PennBid Program. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance; Performance, Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price; with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications. Contractor will provide labor and material necessary for installation rubberized crack sealer on various roadways. Contractor is responsible for street sweeping roadway surface prior to application of crack sealer, and traffic control in accordance with PennDOT Publication 203.
