SDHT Maintenance and Transportation Facility Paving Project This project involves full depth pavement restoration of the bus parking area at the District Maintenance and Transportation Facility located at 50 Hilltop Road, Havertown, PA 19083. Other work includes pavement line striping and installation of tire stops. All material, labor, traffic control, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408 and Township Standards. A nominal fee of 0.33% of the bid amount (up to $5,000) is assessed only to bidders who are awarded contracts. For bidders who are not the winning bid; there are absolutely no fees. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to the School District of Haverford Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of School District of Haverford Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by School District of Haverford Township. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 127, Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification, as amended.
