The general scope of work includes removing existing asphalt and concrete and base course(s) and replacing them with a new base course and colored reinforced concrete pavement, permeable pavers, seat walls, green screen,, planters, lighting, trellis, landscaping, As part of an alternate, aquatic play equipment and associated electrical and plumbing will be installed. Clarification deadline September 25 2020 at 02:00 PM Bidder's proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the form included with the bidding documents in an amount equal to at least (10%) of the total bid or bids and payable to the Owner. This project for the Township of Haverford is governed by the Pennsylvania First Class Township Code and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates and all other applicable Acts. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date. All questions should be submitted via the "Clarifications" feature within PennBid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities or irregularities in proposals, to reject any or all proposals.
