The Tacoma School District #10 is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified vendors for Kitchen Hood Cleaning, utilizing RCW 39.04.155 Small Works Roster. This is a Small Capital Project "Public Works" under $350,000.00, Tacoma School District #10 will utilize its Small Works Roster per RCW 39.04.155, RCW 39.04.010, RCW 39.08, RCW 39.26.190 therefore no Bid Bond will be required. Questions Due Date: Mar 16th 2022, 4:00 PM PDT. Please use Bonfire to submit questions. The last date for questions on this proposal is Wednesday March 16, 2022 close of business day 4:00pm PST. Responses to questions affecting other potential proposers will be provided to any company that has previously accessed this proposal on Bonfire. Tacoma School District #10 (the public entity) will waive the P&P Bond requirement and retain 10% til project close out. Per RCW 39.08.10 the respective public entity may, in lieu of the bond, retain ten percent of the contract amount for a period of thirty days after date of final acceptance, or until receipt of all necessary releases from the department of revenue, the employment security department, and the department of labor and industries and settlement of any liens filed under chapter 60.28 RCW, whichever is later. The recovery of unpaid wages and benefits must be the first priority for any actions filed against retainage held by a state agency or authorized local government. The above is related to projects valued below $150,000.00 as a Payment and Performance Bonds is required on any and all project Bids in excess of $150,000.00. The District reserves the right to reject the proposal of any vendor which does not pass any such evaluation to the District's satisfaction. If the contract is to be awarded, the District anticipates that it will give the successful vendor (the Contractor) a Notice of Award within thirty (30) days after the Proposal Due Date. The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities if the best interest of the District will be served thereby.
