Summary Details: Maintain and operate four (4) Brewster Lake and Gray Lake Area Recreation Sites: 1. Brewster Lake Recreation Site REC0173 2. Apple Point Recreation Site REC0172 3. Brewster Camp Recreation Site REC3054 4. Gray Lake Recreation Site REC0162 The ministry invites proposals from parties interested in maintaining and operating a bundle of 4 fee-for-service recreations sites, listed above, located on Menzies and Gray Lake forest service roads in the area immediately north west of Campbell River, BC. The main objective of the project is to: . Maintain these recreation sites as public assets . Provide for a rustic recreational experience while utilizing safe, sanitary, socially acceptable, and environmentally sound practices . Maintain and operate Recreation Sites to provincial recreation site standards Build a partnership with the successful proponent . Enter into a formal Partnership Agreement with the successful proponent *see Appendix A "Specimen" Partnership Agreement . Have these recreation sites be self-sufficient with user fees covering the cost of maintenance, operation, and upgrades Proposals will be evaluated and a multi-year agreement, that may include an option to renew, will be developed with the successful proponent before the Agreement Holder begins operating and maintaining the Recreation Sites on, or after March 31, 2022, dependent on the ratification of the Partnership Agreement.
