- The City of Fredericton is requesting that each asphalt concrete supplier submit a price for the materials specified later in the document. - The City of Fredericton prices will be FOB at the supplier’s asphalt plant for the supply only of Asphalt Concrete for Patching and Reinstatement as outlined herein on an as and when required basis for the period of date of award until December 31, 2022 (or until plant shut-down). The City reserves the right to extend this agreement for subsequent period(s), subject to mutual consent and agreement of The City of Fredericton and the supplier(s). - The City of Fredericton expects to receive the most favourable pricing available for asphalt concrete, similar to NBDTI District 5 Asphalt Concrete pickup prices. - The City of Fredericton will set up all qualified economically feasible suppliers with a Blanket Purchase Agreement. The Engineering and Operations Department will factor in travel costs for pickup material at the supplier’s plant and any effects travel time may have on delivered product to each site (fuel, downtime, owning and operating costs of trucks) along with price per tonne to determine best value for The City of Fredericton for each and every purchase. - This is no longer a winner take all RFP. All qualified economically feasible suppliers will be set up with a Blanket Purchase Agreement. The City of Fredericton does not guarantee any specific volume to any supplier. Awards will be on an "as and when required basis" to best value to The City of Fredericton.
