The successful bidder will be required to pay laborers, workmen, mechanics and other employees on the work under this contract not less than the prevailing wage for each craft, trade or occupation as established under the DavisBacon Act The Greenwood Board of Aviation Commissioners, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprise firms will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Greenwood Board of Aviation Commissioners, or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid proposal. Contractors awarded a contract will be required to furnish acceptable performance and payment surety bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract price. The guarantee period of performance shall extend for one (1) year from the date of final acceptance of the work by the Owner. Expand apron: modify existing drainage and construct stormwater detention includes modification to the existing 42-inches drainage pipe, installation of new manhole and storm sewer extending existing drainage pipe to downstream pleasant creek. Stormwater management also includes the construction of the underground detention. Necessary grading adjustment are required to accommodate with stormwater management improvements.
