Time of receipt will be as determined by the time received in the Bremerton School District Capital Projects Office. Refer to Section 01 23 00 - Alternates, for description of work under this Section affected by alternates. The HVAC replacements at West Hills STEM Academy includes the following scope of work: Replace 30 VAV terminal units with new controllers and integrate into DDC system. Provide new fans, motors, heating water coils, and unitary DDC controllers for the air handling units AHU-2, AHU-3, and AHU-4 along with air handler controls sequence programming and integration to make a complete and functional system. Replacement of 3 boilers, two heating water pumps, addition of pump VFDs and integration into DDC system. DDC Integration for HVAC system includes outside air damper actuators, return air dampers actuators, supply fans, heating water coil control valves, heating water coil circulation pumps, duct temperature sensors, duct static pressure sensors, terminal unit damper actuators, space temperature sensors, and other components and points included in the DDC Points Matrix, System Control Diagrams, and Sequence of Operations. DDC Integration for Heating Water System includes the boilers, pump VFDs, automatic flow control valves, and other components and points included in the DDC Points Matrix, System Control Diagrams, and Sequence of Operations. Any changes resulting from this conference will be made by Addendum following the conference. The conference is held for the benefit of the bidders. It is requested that some person of authority from the office of the prospective bidder attend this meeting. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond with State-Licensed Surety Company as surety, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the Bremerton School District #100. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. Such bonds shall be furnished by a surety company acceptable to the Owner. Pursuant to RCW 39.04.320, no less than fifteen percent of the labor hours shall be performed by apprentices, unless a different amount is permitted or otherwise required by law. Bremerton School District #100 reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and irregularities in the bidding and to accept bids, which are considered to be in the best interest of Bremerton School District #100. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the time set for the opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days.
