Installation is to include transitions for doorways from carpet squares to existing floors at classroom doorways. Color will be picked by the District and may be different for different locations. MHS - room 213 no removal is required. This floor will have been abated ahead of time. The Company will work with the district on the schedule to allow abatement time. The Project will need to be complete no later than July 29th , 2022 The Montrose County School District (Owner) seeks a Company to perform district flooring removal and installation of new floor coverings. If your Company is interested, please submit a proposal for removal and installation at Centennial Middle School, Oak Grove Elementary School, Montrose High School, and Cottonwood Elementary School. This project will consist of tear out, disposal, and installation of new flooring and cove base. The Company will be installing approximately 10,191 square feet of EF Contract Flooring Spree Kinetix or equivalent spec product. The project will also include installing new Roppe 700 rubber/vinyl blend "Black" cove base or equivalentspec product. There will be two bids. Bid 1 will be the cost for a company to do all the areas at an individual school per school. Bid 2 will be the total project cost if a company is awarded all the floors at each school site. The flooring Company is responsible for verifying square footage measurements and cove base linear footage. There exists the possibility for some floor repair such as concrete crack filling and leveling. This will need to be included in the bid and should be based on time and materials cost.
