Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Middletown, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials for this project consists of adding stonework and aluminum handrails to bridges 1-022 and 1-525 on Sharpley Road. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. All work on this contract must be complete within 82 Calendar Days. The Contract Time includes an allowance for 0 Weather Days. The Department's intent is to issue a Notice to Proceed for work to start on or about July 11, 2022. The date of the final posted Questions and Answers document must be entered on the submitted Certification Form. PRE-BID MEETING: No Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit of either surety bond or security for a sum equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. 29 Del.C. 6962 (c)(12)(a) requires DelDOT to include a performance-based rating system for contractors.
