Site work for a water / sewer project in Winter Haven, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of mid March 2025, plant and pipeline construction have begun and the anticipated completion date as of now is slated for the middle of 2028. The injection well for the project will begin April 2025. A test well is underway. The actual plant itself will begin construction in 2028. Interested parties should contact the joint venture construction manager. Bidding for the plant project will be in 2027. Southeast Wellfield Project, Phase 1 West Polk Lower Floridan Aquifer Project, Phase 1 Those who wish to attend must do so in person. A site visit(s) to the project sites is strongly encouraged but not mandatory, and will be scheduled at the pre-proposal meeting for a later date. No questions will be answered at the site meetings, however, if there are any questions they may be submitted to the Procurement Manager. Proposals received from firms who do not attend the pre-proposal meeting will not be considered. The Cooperative reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, and to enter into a contract determined to be in the best interest of the Cooperative
