DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately: 1,000 SF Remove Bituminous Pavement 80 Ton Aggregate Base, Class 5 35 Ton Bituminous Pavement 1,570 LF 6" - 8" Watermain 180 LF 8" Watermain Trenchless Installation 180 LF 6" Casing - Trenchless Installation together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates and Responsible Contractor Certification. This project is funded through an Indian Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to Indian Preference Requirements as outlined in U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Title 24, Part 1003.510. BID SECURITY: A proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of Lower Sioux Indian Community in the State of Minnesota shall accompany each bid. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work under the Contract must be complete by August 26, 2022. TRIBAL SOVEREIGNTY: No provision of these bid or project documents shall be construed by any of the signatories as abridging or debilitating any sovereign powers of the Lower Sioux Indian Community in the State of Minnesota.
