Bids will be received for a single General Contract. The Work includes, but is not limited to; Concrete, miscellaneous metals, rough carpentry, sheathing, shop fabricated trusses, exterior finish carpentry, architectural woodwork, bituminous dampproofing, insulation, metal roofing, sheet metal flashings, roof accessories, siding, penetrating firestopping, sealants, flush wood doors and wood frames, access doors and frames, residential garage doors, metal- clad wood windows, hardware, glazing, gypsum board, resilient flooring, sheet carpeting, paint & staining, manufactured gas fireplace, horizontal louver blinds, window shades, mechanical systems, plumbing, heating and ventilation, electrical systems, lighting, asphalt paving, concrete paving, and underground utilities, excavation and backfill, rough grading, and chain link fencing. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in accordance with Instructions to Bidders in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish to Fremont County School District #21, within ten (10) days of the bid's acceptance, performance and Material bonds or other security acceptable and assigned to the district conditioned for the payment of all labor and materials for the job and performance and completion of the job in an amount not less than 100% of the contract price, and as authorized by Wyoming Statutes Section 16-6-112 (as amended). SS16-6-106 and 107. A five percent (5%) preference will be given to resident Wyoming Contractors in accordance with the applicable State Statutes. Resident contractors shall be certified as such by the Wyoming Department of Employment at the time of the bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least forty-five (30) days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids, except as noted in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, to evaluate the bids submitted, and to accept the proposal which best serves the interest of the Owner. 'Notice to Proceed' will be issued upon board approval for 'Work' to begin immediately.
