From construction firms to provide complete construction management services for the Port Credit Library Foundation Repairs located at 20 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, Ontario L5G 1C8, Mississauga ON. As part of this project the caisson foundations for the Port Credit Library will be reinforced using helical piles and structural steel beams. The project will include extensive foundation structural repairs to the existing Port Credit Library foundation structure. The existing building sits on a post and beam concrete foundation grid with a partial 3 foot crawl space and rests on 27 caissons that are driven deep into the landfill. The existing caissons are experiencing material loss due to exposure to the environment and will require extensive repairs /rehabilitation in order to stabilize the foundation structure of the building. Provide pre-construction management services starting during the design phase for the total scope of work including, but not limited to, attending design meetings, developing and reviewing cost estimates, schedule development, advising on constructability, building condition assessments, destructive testing, etc. for an estimated construction budget of $6,000,000 (excl. Construction Manager fees and HST). The Construction Manager's fee will be a fixed fee of $180,000 for all phases and is excluded in the construction budget. The services for the pre-construction phase are anticipated to commence on Apr-2022 or sooner, subject to issuance of a purchase order; The services for construction phase are anticipated to start in Jul-2022 with an anticipated substantial completion on Sep-2023, and post-construction services for 1 year warranty period, ending Sep-2024.
