Renovation of a mixed-use development in Thomaston, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Upson County Board of Commissioners is seeking a qualified contractor to lead the rehabilitation of the physical structure of Andrews Chapel School. Andrews Chapel School (the "School") is a historic structure that at one time in Upson County (the "County") served as a one room schoolhouse. The School was initially constructed in 1912. The school is an important icon representing education in the early part of the 20th Century of Upson County The School has not been in use since 1942. The local community has done its best in trying to preserve the school, which is the last remaining one-room schoolhouse in Upson County.
