The scope of work and solicitation documents are available at no cost at the BAT Administrative Office, 155 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302 during regular business hours. Additionally, requests for documents may be sent to BAT by e-mail to: jmech@ridebat.com. Be sure to include all contact information with your request. Vendors are invited to submit sealed bids to the Brockton Area Transit Authority (BAT) to restore designated sections of pavement at the BAT Center. Work will be scheduled to commence immediately upon acceptance of the most advantageous bid provided by a responsive and responsible vendor. This contract is subject to M.G.L. c 30, Section 39M, and Massachusetts Prevailing Wages and Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. BATs Standard Federal Terms also apply. The award of this contract is contingent on the availability of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. BAT may reject any and all bids when required to do so by the above referenced statute or waive any informality if it determines it to be in the public interest to do so.
