As of May 26, 2022, the project bids were rejected but will re bid at a later date. Construction of a one-story, 3,860 S.F., masonry, and steel garage addition to an existing one-story building at 5000 Glencoe Avenue, commonly known as the McCook Police Department. The project consists of but is not limited to the following work: sitework including curbs, walks & paving, site utilities, excavation, concrete foundation and flatwork, masonry, steel bar joist, deck & lintels, roofing & sheet metal and insulation, overhead doors, hollow metal doors & frames, finish hardware, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and all appurtenant construction. Ill INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS: B. Only qualified Contractors who can furnish satisfactory proof that they have performed work of similar nature as Contractors will be entitled to receive Plans and submit Proposals. To meet this requirement, at the request of the Architect, bidders will be required to submit a "Statement of Experience" consisting of a list of previous projects of similar nature in order to receive Plans.
