Site work and paving for a road / highway in Salisbury Beach, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work shall consist of scarifying and pulverizing the existing bituminous paved area and underlying material to form an asphaltic stabilized base and the removal and disposal of existing bituminous paved areas. Construction for this project is anticipated to begin on or about April 2022. MassDOT pre-qualification is required for this project. All bidders must be MassDOT pre-qualified in order to take out "Official" bid documents. Contractors or Suppliers seeking "Informational Only" bid documents are not required to be MassDOT pre-qualified. The Proposal Guaranty shall be in the form of either cash, bid bond, certified check, bank treasurer's check, or bank cashier's check, made payable to the Town of Salisbury in the amount of 5% of the value of the Base Bid.A performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, will be required in the form described in the Information for Bidders.The Owner may waive any informality or reject any and all bids.
