Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Working plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a clubhouse / community center; 50,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and fire / police facility.
This project includes the design and construction of a new police & fire headquarters. The proposed approximately 50,000 square foot facility will replace the existing approximately 28,000 square foot building that has exceeded its useful life. The goal of the building committee and town staff is to build on the current site 8150/8166 Post Road. We are awaiting final determinations from the design firm to confirm the location. As of May 4, 2026, a construction manager at risk has been chosen. Bidding is expected to be advertised later in May with construction to follow in June and last through the end of 2027.
