Provide all necessary material, equipment, incidentals, and labor for landscaping work within the Quonset Business Park at the locations shown in the attached plans. All Bidder's personnel/labor assigned to the project shall have a complete working knowledge of the limits of the work, the scope of the work, and a complete understanding of the specifications outlined in the contract. QDC representatives will actively be inspecting and reviewing the work to ensure conformance with the specifications. Reimbursements will be adjusted accordingly to reflect services actually performed in the event that they differ from those specified in the contract. Work will be conducted each month starting in April 2022 through January 2023. The frequency of visits will depend on seasonal conditions; and will be agreed upon between QDC Project Manager and Contractor. Each location shall be maintained in a condition acceptable to the Director of Public Works and/or the Superintendent of Maintenance of the Quonset Development Corporation (Owner). Bidder will supply pricing for an initial spring cleanup, and per visit pricing for each type of lawn and turf maintenance service each month including, but not limited to, litter and debris removal, physical weed removal, trimming and edging, weed control, mowing, and fertilization. After initial startup, visits shall be a minimum of twice per month with additional visits to be determined at the start of each month. This is not a prevailing wage contract. The Quonset Development Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all the bidders and to waive any informalities in bids received and to accept that bid which, in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Corporation. A minimum of five (5) years experience in landscape maintenance is required. Bidder shall include with bid proposal a list of work successfully performed.
