Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ada, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Bid #14 - overlay road project for 2.3 miles on County Road 3585, County Road 1542, County Road 1545, County Road 1550, & County Road 3590 (Pontotoc County District #1) This work will be performed according to the project specifications provided for this project. 1. Tack Coat shall be applied before placement of 2.0" asphalt Tack Coat application shall be 0.075 GAL. Per SY prior to dilution. 2. ASPHALT MIX DESIGN Shall NOT EXCEED 30% RAP. 3. COUNTY will have the road's surface prepared and ready for a 2.0-inch S-4 ASPHALT overlay. 4. All residential and field entrances shall have 1 ft. asphalt aprons. Asphalt apron lengths may be adjusted at the discretion of the on-site Inspector. 5. The County shall be responsible for all traffic control required for the construction of the project. 6. The County shall contact and coordinate with property owners/tenants any work of driveway construction requiring temporary closure of driveway. A minimum of 24 hours' notice shall be given prior to any driveway construction. 7. The contractor shall be responsible for the repair and/or replacement of all damaged property, including but not limited to structures, foundations, curb and gutter, driveways, sidewalks, fences, and landscape amenities, not scheduled for removal or disturbance. 8. All work and/or materials not classified as a "Contract Pay Item" shall be considered incidental and the cost thereof shall be included in the unit price bid for the items which are classified for payment. 9. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to private utilities. 10. The contractor shall ensure the protection and maintenance of all utilities and shall be responsible for their repair and replacement if damaged. No additional payment or time shall be considered due to any required work associated with repairs or replacement. 11. The contractor will be responsible for clean-up following completion of the project. 12. The County will provide the material and shoulder up the new asphalt mat. The proposal will include a special provision with reference to the Contractor's Non-Collusion Affi davit and a 5% bid bond in a certifi ed or cashier's check or surety bond shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. Evidence of having proper worker's compensation coverage for employees as provided by Title 85 of the Oklahoma Statutes Section 61 shall be required prior to issuance of a work order. Examination of plans, specifications, provisions, and site of work is required. Rates for liquidated damages for this project will be $2,000.00 per calendar day. Bidder questions concerning this proposal will be accepted at that time, and vendors will be given a bid packet at this time as well. Non-attendance by any potential bidder will result in the disqualification of said bidder at bid opening. Upon award of contract to a successful bidder, the Contractor will commence work under this contract April 5, 2022. The completion date for all items of work shall be May 31, 2022. Pontotoc County reserves the right to reject any or all bids
