The Scope of Work includes placement of Trail Resurfacing at Longview Farm and Drace Park, traffic control, and other incidental items. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Town and Country reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any and all proposals, to waive technicalities or deficiencies in any or all the proposals, to negotiate with any or all bidders or others for other or more favorable terms or prices, and/or to award the contract to other than the bidder submitting the lowest cost proposal, with or without negotiation. The Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the faithful performance of this Contract and also a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum in a penal sum not less than that prescribed by State or local law, as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this Contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract.
