Siting of a permanent facility supporting the Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Program and Emergency Management Operations. The selected consultant will provide engineering and architectural design services supporting site development including: water, sewer, access, building, site security and storage areas. Kittitas County selection will be based on: 1. Response to this solicitation's scoring criteria. 2. Consensus for selection by members of the selection committee (two members from the Sheriff's Office and one member from Public Works). The selection process shall be in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit statements in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The selected consultant(s) will be expected to enter into a standard Kittitas County Professional Services Agreement. Insurance requirements are included in that agreement. The contract period shall be mid May 2022 to March 31, 2023. Bid, ready construction documents will be delivered on or before, 5 PM local time on March 31, 2023.
