Renovation of a swimming pool in Truro, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The Town of Truro invites qualified proponents to submit tenders for Renovations to the Victoria Park Pool House, in Victoria Park, Truro. The project must be substantially complete by June 17th, 2022 Work is to renovate and make the building fully accessible and includes construction of new gypsum ceilings, walls, supply and installation of flooring, supply and installation of internal & external doors, walls primed and painted; All as indicated in the drawings and specs attached. All plumbing fixtures will be supplied and installed by our tendered plumbing company - Kelsey's Plumbing. All electrical work & cabling will be performed by our tendered electrician - Sorenson's Electrical. Plumbing and electrical to be coordinated between the project manager, general contractor and tradespeople. Any and all blocking per the drawings will be the responsibility of the General Contractor. Kitchenette will be by others. All signage requirements will be the responsibility of the Town of Truro. Bidders will include a proposed work schedule with their bid package and the proposed start date will be clearly identified. A building permit is required and will be the responsibility of The Town of Truro. The general contractor will be responsible for all other necessary permits.
