The scope of work is to provide professional and technical assistance to the Planning and Zoning Commission in its review of applications. Such applications include but are not limited to: Site Plan approvals, Special Permits, and Changes to the Official Zoning Map. While most applications are reviewed solely by Town staff, the Commission generally seeks outside professional assistance for applications involving large, complex projects that have the potential for off-site impacts as well as specific technical assistance that requires specialized expertise in a particular field. Submit questions concerning this RFP through the Bonfire Portal by Friday, March 18, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. local time. Questions submitted after that date and time will not receive a response. o Responses to questions will be issued only as a written Addenda posted to the Town website (www.mansfieldct.gov . Your Government RFQ, RFP and Bid Postings), State of CT DAS Bidding Portal, and Bonfire portal. It is the responsibility of bidders to check for addenda on the document posting sites. Addenda will be posted by Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. local time. Evaluation and Award The Planning and Zoning Commission will select one or more firms to be placed on the "On-Call" list. The "On-Call" list is typically in effect for a period of three (3) years. Qualified bidders that are selected for the on-call list will be provided with the opportunity to submit a formal fee proposal for review of specific applications. The PZC will have sole discretion as to which applications, if any, will be assigned to the selected consultants. The Town reserves the right to issue a general competitive Request for Proposals for any project it deems appropriate. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
