Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Elm Creek, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the addition of a 44,380-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project located at the Elm Creek Public School (in Elm Creek, NE) is as follows: The overall project consists of a 44,380 sf new two story addition to Elm Creek Public Schools. Work includes minor renovation of existing spaces along with selective demolition and wholesale demolition of the existing three-story elementary school building. The Final Bid Package: Work included in this bid package includes demolition of 1920 s three story building, masonry, metal studs and drywall, rough carpentry, waterproofing, insulation, EPDM roofing, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, HM doors, frames, and hardware, OH coiling doors, Aluminum-framed storefronts, Acoustical Ceiling Tile, flooring and tile, polished concrete floors, resilient athletic floors, painting, specialties including visual display boards, toilet compartments, and lockers, window coverings, casework, elevators, wheel chair lift, fire suppression, HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical systems, communications systems, electronic safety and security systems, chain link fencing, and exterior improvements. Contract documents are available electronically by contacting Austin Larson at BD Construction, 308-234-1836, or: alarson@bdconstruction.com Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and labeled to indicate that it is a bid for the Elm Creek School project. Bids shall be mailed, or hand delivered prior to the time indicated for the bid opening. All proposals shall remain in effect for a period of Forty (40) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of propos als. All bids are to be in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and all other related Bid Documents, which can be viewed/obtained (electronically) from BD Construction. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids and to reject a bid not accompanied by any required bid security or by other data required by the bidding documents; or to reject a bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular and to waive any informalities in any proposal.
