Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The John Crawford Trail is a 2-kilometer non-motorized multi-use trail located in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia and is overseen by the Town of Stewiacke Recreation Department. The John Crawford Trail is located on the south side of Kitchener Street west of Rockwell Drive. The first section of the trail is a loop that is a total of 350m from the parking lot and back. This part of the trail has crusher pathway to make for a more user-friendly trail. The second part of the trail has more of a nature trail focus with natural terrain. This section takes you through the backwoods and through a wetland. This section of the trail loops back to the original trail head and is a total of 1.7 km. This makes our trail approximately 2 km in length. Over time the trails boardwalks have become old and worn and are in need of replacement.
