The County is seeking proposals from qualified individuals to conduct landline survey work related to the Master Stewardship Agreement the County has with the USDA, Forest Service, Stanislaus National Forest. The County is seeking a qualified individual or firm who will conduct various landline surveying services on behalf of the County in close coordination with the USDA Forest Service under the MSA. Those survey services shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, tools, and supplies, except those furnished by Tuolumne County ("County"). It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to describe the services Tuolumne County is seeking. The County intends to award a contract with a not-to-exceed amount per year to the Proposer(s) who best meets the County's requirements. The County will use Task Orders which will contain specific costs based on the Proposer's rates as well as supplemental specifications and exhibits for individual project work sites. Task Orders will be issued on an as-needed basis. All projects will be located on lands managed by the Stanislaus National Forest within the County of Tuolumne. Example forest treatment projects include but are not limited to reforestation, mastication, commercial and non-commercial thinning, prescribed burning, habitat restoration and other similar activities. Projects will range in size from small (under 500 acres) to large (over 3,000 acres). All landline contracted work shall be performed by, or under the direct supervision of, a person licensed to practice surveying in California and be in good standing with the California license governing board. The survey shall comply with all applicable State and Local laws and regulations, as well as all applicable portions of the appropriate GLO/BLM Manual of Instructions and Specifications in this document providing they are not less than these requirements set forth herein.
