Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Camden, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Preble County Commissioners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any irregularities in bidding; and to enter into a contract(s) with the bidder or bidders who in their consideration offered the lowest and best bid. COMPLETION DATE OF THIS PROJECT IS OCTOBER 31, 2022. Each bid must be accompanied by cashier's check or certified check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the Preble County Commissioners or by a bid bond acknowledged by the bidder, as principal, and by a surety company qualified to do business in the State of Ohio and satisfactory to the owner, as surety. The cashier's check or certified check shall be in the sum of ten (10%) percent of the bid. The bid bond shall be in the sum of 100% of the bid, which includes the total of the base bid and any alternates, as per ORC requirements. Once the bid is awarded, the successful bidder agrees to furnish a performance bond for the total amount of the CR-44 Israel Somers Road Bridge Superstructure Replacement Project.
