Replacement door slabs shall be 20-gage rolled steel from Therma-Tru or Steelcraft and most will be 6-panel with some 1/4 light panel doors. Existing doors are Benchmark, Curries, Castlegate or Therma-Thru. A viewfinder will need to be transferred from the removed door or from BCHC inventory. The frame, strike and hinges to remain. This project proposes to replace the entry lock sets at 193 family homes owned by the Bay City Housing Commission. A single contract will be issued for this project. Scope of work will include replacement of storeroom locks at 38 shed doors and removal and replacement of 24 insulated six-panel steel door slabs at 12 homes that were field modified to fit lockset purchased.
