Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township and must be accompanied by the non-collusion and workmen's compensation affidavits, and a bid bond, issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to the Township. Bidders must be prequalified by PennDOT as contractors (if specified in the bid documents). Milling & Paving - Silo Hill Road: This project is subject to the regulations of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act 442) as amended. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE - 3/23/2022 12:00 PM The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory insurance, Performance, Payment & Maintenance Bonds (if specified in the bid documents) with a corporate surety approved by the Township. Award of contract, if a contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
