Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and clubhouse / community center.

The City is seeking qualified General Contractors for Roof and Mechanical Equipment Replacement at Beverly Community Centre, Carlisle Community Centre & Bill Friday Arena. The City may partially award this work based on Arena. The scope of work for each of the arenas is summarizes as follows: Carlisle Arena requires a full roof replacement of its built up and metal roofs. Roof replacement scope includes (but is not limited to): - New roof drains, new parapet structures with flashing at flat roof areas, - New flashing details at HVAC curbs, and up against existing masonry walls; - New eavestroughs and/or scuppers with downspouts. Beverly Arena requires a roof replacement of most of its built up roofs as well as the entirety of its sloped metal roof. The roof over the existing and connected Recreation centre is not included in the scope. Roof replacement scope includes (but is not limited to): - New roof drains, new parapet structures with flashing at flat roof areas, - New flashing details at HVAC curbs, and up against existing masonry walls; - New eavestroughs and/or scuppers with downspouts. Beverley Arena also requires mechanical upgrades in the form of replacing its existing dehumidification system with a new desiccant dehumidification system. New ducting for the dehumidification system is also included in the scope of work. Bill Friday (Lawfield) Arena requires mechanical upgrades in the form of; Replacing its existing dehumidification system with a new desiccant dehumidification system. New ducting for the dehumidification system is also included in the scope of work; - Air Condition Unit replacement with a like for like unit; and - Chiller replacement with a like for like unit.
