A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Project Number- 232-1910-002 The proposed Work includes the following: Phase 1 of the apron rehabilitation will rehabilitate the existing deicing area asphalt pavements with a nominal 4-inch mill and overlay. The project will also include a painted taxiway island at the Taxiway C and Taxiway A intersection to remove direct apron access to Runway 12-30 per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circular 150/5300-13A guidelines. Taxiway edge lights will be added as required at the painted island intersection. Bidder Qualifications: See bidder qualifications of General Provisions Section 20-02 There is a Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 0.74% for this project. The scope consists of: -Erosion and sediment control measures -Bituminous pavement milling (4" depth) - RS&H tried to improve the drainage - RS&H pointed out that contractor was to match existing elevations at trench drain - Bituminous pavement (4") - Light Installation - Pavement marking (pavement island, taxiway edge and non-movement area boundary) - RS&H highlighted the existing storm pipe that runs through the proposed painted island and explained why the design had two cabling trenches instead of one trench for cabling to Taxiway edge lighting. Each Bidder is individually responsible for the careful examination of the site of the proposed Work, the Proposal, Plans, General Provisions, Technical Specifications, Contract Forms, and all requirements of the project. The failure or omission by any Bidder to do so shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its bid. The Authority reserves the following rights: to accept or reject any or all bids; and to award the Contract to the most responsive and responsible Bidder whose bid is determined by the Authority to be in its best interest.
