PSI Project No.: 0142-2310 The work to be accomplished under this contract will be the replacement of two existing 6" water mains with an installation of the following: 1. 2,405 feet of new 8" ductile iron water main pipe on Andrews Avenue from Detroit Avenue to Clifton Boulevard. 2. 2,335 feet of 8" ductile iron water main pipe on Gladys Avenue from Detroit Avenue to Clifton Boulevard. Included in this work are new service lines to each existing curb stop, new hydrants, valves, testing, concrete base removal and replacement at sewer trenches and disinfection of new mains and abandon in place the existing 6" water mains. Also, included are sanitary and storm sewer lining, patching and repair, new curb inlets, storm laterals and storm sewer repair. Andrews Avenue has manhole separations. Alternate bid items are provided for using ODOT Item No. 302 Asphalt base in lieu of concrete base for the watermain trench and base repairs. Finally, asphalt milling and resurfacing shall be performed from curb to curb on Andrews Avenue and Gladys Avenue within the limits as mentioned above and shown on drawings. Public outreach, notices and Good Neighbor Commitments shall be per the General Conditions, plans and specifications.
