Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Highland, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of the furnishing of all equipment, labor and materials for the resurfacing and partial reconstruction of the Sharp Athletic Parking Lot, including: asphalt milling; HMA overlay; areas of full depth pavement removal and reconstruction with geogrid, aggregate base and asphalt pavement; pavement markings; and signage Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form (Section 00300), and must be accompanied by an Affidavit of Compliance, Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, Certification Regarding Unauthorized Aliens, signed copies of Addenda (if issued) and satisfactory bid security. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Town of Highland or an acceptable bid bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BONDS: A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, will be required upon award of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his or her bid within a period of 30 days following the date set for receiving bids. The Highland Parks and Recreation Board reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 30 days, and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Board further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder, all to the advantage of the Board, or to reject all bids. The successful Contractor and his or her subcontractors shall be licensed with the Town of Highland in accordance with Chapter 5.20 "Licensing of Building Contractors" of Title 5 of the Highland Municipal Code.
