The City of North Myrtle Beach requests bids for materials & labor to remove and replace pool surface for Lap Pool at Aquatic & Fitness Center to specifications The city of NMB reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and award in its best interests. Question Acceptance Deadline 03/30/2022 02:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % This work shall include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment for the proper resurfacing of the lap pool located at the City of North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC), 1100 2 nd Avenue South, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: - The work shall start Monday, August 8, 2022 and must be completed by Friday, September 2, 2022. - Contractor shall be responsible for paying Liquidated Damages at the rate of $1,000 per day for each day the project goes over the specified end day of September 2, 2022. - Contractor is responsible for all measurements. - All bidders shall be Licensed Commercial Swimming Pool Contractors - Provide at time of bid proof of insurance that meets or exceeds City of North Myrtle Beach insurance requirements - Obtain all required permits. - Make contact with Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) - Obtain DHEC change orders
