The Pennsylvania Game Commission, Northcentral Region, requires improvement to an existing road on State Game Lands 092 in Centre County. Services shall include, but not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, tools, and equipment for the below outlined road repairs, as per the attached specifications The road improvement project is a total of 8,408 feet. Road surface is to be shaped and graded, ditches and turnouts established as directed. The banks must be graded to a 1:1 slope. Roadside ditches are to be established along both sides of the road. Roadside ditches must be a minimum of 8 inches deep after the stone is applied to the road and sloped 1:3. The roadside ditch must effectively carry all water to the nearest location that it can be carried away from the road. A roadside ditch is not necessary in areas where the road can be graded to allow for the sheet flow of water from the driving surface to an area where it can infiltrate naturally into the adjacent vegetation. All existing tail ditches must be reestablished to ensure that water is able to enter them and be effective at carrying water away from the road. New tail ditches are to be installed as often as is necessary to remove water from roadside ditches and prevent erosion, as determined by the Regional Forester or designee on the ground. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
