EDA AWARD NUMBER: 08-01-05395; 114426 The tabulation of bids will be considered by the City of Artesia at its next regular City Council meeting following the opening of bids, or at a later meeting, whichever is in the best interest of the City of Artesia. Bidders attention is directed to the fact that a bid bond, performance/payment bonds, wage rate requirements, and the Subcontractors Fair Practices Act will be applicable in responding to this bid invitation and in effect for this project. There will not be a pre-bid meeting held for this project. Street and utility construction including removals, earthwork, sub-grade prep, base course, hot-mix asphalt paving, culverts, concrete blankets, water lines, sewer lines, sewer lift station, force main, drainage swales, traffic control, striping, and other roadway and utility related work items for completion of the project. This project is wholly or partially funded by the City of Artesia. All qualified bidders will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended.
