(2) Bid #2022-002 - Cartway Milling (approximately 7,625 square yards), Superpave Wearing Course Leveling/Overlay Installation (approximately 6,070 tons), and Line Striping (approximately 8,675 LF). Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township (via online) and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township; AntiCollusion Affidavit; Workman's Compensation Affidavit; and Public Works Employment Verification Act (EVerify Program) certification. Bidder must be PennDOT prequalified as a Prime Contractor for all bid items, and a copy of prequalification must be included with all bids. All information must be submitted via the online Program. Attention is called to the fact that the Prevailing Wage Act 422 does apply for Bid #2022-002, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the prevailing wage rates determined for the project area as set forth in the project documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance; Performance, Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price; with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications. Hilltown Township reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
