Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project will fund the design and installation of a new playground in Marstons Mills. The playground will be designed to accommodate one age group, 2-5 year olds, and will be designed as a neighborhood playground. The layout and selection of equipment will be coordinated with local Community Groups, the Community Services Department, Planning and Development Department, and other interested parties. The playground equipment will be handicapped accessible and will include, wood fiber surfacing, limited poured-in-place access surfacing, partial wood and chain link fencing, and seating. The playground will be designed around some of the existing old trees which will provide shade. As of May 16, 2025, this project is included in the Town of Barnstable's Fiscal Year 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and funding allotted for FY 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
