The Department of Engineering has secured a SMART SCALE grant for the installation of a third eastbound left turn lane on Oyster Point Road and a third westbound receiving lane on Oyster Point Road. Coupled with signal timing changes, the project will improve operational efficiency for all movements This project is in included in the City of Newport News FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of March 15, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
