I. SUMMARY STATEMENT The MDOT State Highway Administration Salisbury Shop is soliciting bids for a roadside grass mowing contract in Wicomico County. Mowing State Highway right of ways along chosen state highway routes will be done using approved tractor powered flail mowers only. The contract resulting from this solicitation will include, 2 cycles of mowing, during the early 2022 growing season starting approximately April 2022 limited to the amount of the successful bid. The vendor shall supply a minimum of 2 tractors with operators daily for mowing operations. Mowing routes will be chosen by the Administration. Pricing for this work will be lump sum for all routes. Note: If all bids exceed $50,000 this procurement will be cancelled and re-advertised as a formal procurement. II. SMALL BUSINESS RESERVE PROCUREMENT This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors. Only vendors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract.
