Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The purpose of this RFT is to procure a Contractor to complete the road reconstruction and infrastructure replacement works on Herbert Street from George Street to Union Street East in Waterloo, ON. This is an end date contract per OPSS.MUNI 100. The Contract is anticipated to be awarded on or about April 25th, 2022. The Contractor must commence work within one week of May 30th, 2022. The end date for the Works completed in 2022 is September 2nd, 2022. The Contractor shall have the right of way free and clear for winter maintenance by no later than November 1st, 2022. The Works to be completed in 2023 shall commence not later than April 30, 2023. The substantial performance date for this contract is July 7th, 2023, with total completion by September 1th, 2023.
