Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Cooper Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Cooper Township Supervisors, Clearfield County, PA, are accepting sealed bids for the replacement of the bridge on T-774 (Coalward Street) over Sulphur Run. The successful bidder shall provide all labor, material, tools, and equipment needed to complete the project. The replacement structure is an aluminum box culvert with dimensions of 15'-1" span x 5'-8" rise. The culvert length is 31'-6". All materials must meet current PennDOT specifications and be Bulletin 15 approved. All bidders must be PennDOT prequalified. A bid bond, or certified check, in an amount equal to 10% of the bid price, is required with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the bid price. Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this project. Bids will be opened at a regular meeting on the same day beginning at 7:00 pm. The sealed envelope containing the bid shall be marked "Bid for T-774 Bridge Replacement". The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bidders are solely responsible for getting their bid to the township by the specified date and time. Any bids received after 3:00 PM, local time, on April 4, 2022, including bids delivered by mail, will not be accepted.
