The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide all material and labor for the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications to relocate their TV Studio space on the second floor of Andersen Hall. The scope of work shall include but not be limited to the demolition of eight (8) offices to create one large open space on the north end. Construction of two (2) new rooms, a control room and a data/storage room. This project will also include new room finishes including painting of the walls and ceiling, LVT flooring, ceiling grid in control room, lighting bar grid, several new floor electrical boxes, conduits and raceways, lighting and shade controls, power for shades at the windows to include 3rd floor skylights. The plans included in the RFP detail the full scope of work for this project.
