There are six (6) structures to be demolished located at 1156 W. Pine Street, 1008/1010 W. Mulberry Street, 914 West Holly Street, 1533/1535 Wabash Street, 1537 Wabash Street, 1571 Hemlock Street. Bidders are welcome to atte This contract involves the demolition of six (6) structures throughout Coal Township. A total of five (5) contracts will receive bids for consideration. Structures located at 1533/1535 and 1537 Wabash Street will be issued as one contract, all other locations shall be individual contracts. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a Bidders Bond, certified check or cashiers check, in favor of the Township, in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid. The Township reserves the right to waive any informality in and to accept or reject any and all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60-days, with the right to extend that time to 120-days if additional time is needed. Bidders must submit with their bids the Non-Collusion Affidavit contained in the contract documents. The contract documents contain requirements addressing nondiscrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses and related matters. The bidders attention is called to the fact that this contract is subject to all applicable provisions of the State Prevailing Wage Act, and the bid shall be prepared accordingly. The applicable wage determinations are included in the contract documentsnd the April 5, 2022 opening where bids will be reviewed.
